I’ve been trying to figure out how my character got into NYU because he’s not exceptionally smart (he’s not dumb but he’s like a B and C student) and he just wants to play soccer but NYU doesn’t seem big about soccer and even if he got a scholarship his grades probably aren’t good enough oh and he’s kind of poor. Is this where I throw realism out the window? Anyway, he’s becoming a person slowly so that’s progress.
